| Bio: | Full Name: Severus Snape Age/Birthday: Age 18, born on January 9, 1960 House: Slytherin House Blood Status: Halfblood Alliance: Death Eater Personality: Snape is generally sullen and reclusive. He can be cruel, combative, judgmental, and quick to anger, something he probably learned from his rocky childhood. However, his mind is keen and he shows exemplary skill in regards to his studies and magical adeptness. He is sharply opinionated and can maturely reason, even at a young age. Family and Friends: Severus' father, Tobias Snape, was charismatic in the public eye, though tended toward obsessive and argumentative in the home. His verbal abuse were mostly directed at his wife, Eileen Prince, who became a cold and withdrawn mother. Severus developed a strong distaste for his father, and the lack of positive parental influences forced Severus to mature quickly, and find alternative places for friendship. Severus can in no way be considered 'friendly' or 'likable'. He is nasty to almost everyone, and his elitist attitude significantly cuts down on a list of potential friendships. For the most part, Severus is content to spend his time alone than with superficial acquaintances. Appearance: Sallow, pale skin, with greasy shoulder length black hair. Black eyes, a cold glare. Severus is not overly tall, but his frame is not toned like an athlete, but skinny and still a bit awkward. He prefers to dress conservatively in black, if only because any effort spent dressing in the morning is wasted time, and black is easy. Sexuality: Heterosexual Hobbies: Potion making, reading. Severus does not play Quidditch, nor does he think Gobstones Club is a suitable use of time. Biography: Severus grew up on Spinner’s End, in an industrial part of northern England. His childhood, as indicated above, was short and difficult. With an abusive father, Severus was quick to understand that anything he needed in life he would have to provide for himself. Constantly on the offensive, Severus would have learned how to protect himself at a young age. Though, there was light in his youth, in the form of Lily Evans, most likely the only person Severus ever loved. Their bond was strong, but not strong enough to withstand the political and social upheaval of the first rise of Lord Voldemort. At Hogwarts, Severus was a quick sort into Slytherin.
